General
Check in time is 12pm for sites and 2pm for ensuite sites and villas.Check out time is 10am for all sites and accommodation.
If you’re arriving late, give us a call on 02 6566 6142 before 5pm and we’ll send you the after-hours code and process to follow.
Our friendly staff at reception are available to assist you during the following times:
Summer: 8am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday and 8am to 5pm Sundays
Winter: 9am to 5pm daily
Public holidays: 9am to 5pm
Generally, we only offer short term stays so that we can share the holiday fun with as many people as possible. However, if you wish to enjoy the park longer, you’re welcome to extend your stay up to 3 months.
Guide and Assistance Dogs are more than welcome. We just need you to supply relevant documents and complete some paperwork and ask that your animal always wear their companion jacket. If you don’t have the appropriate documents, please refer to our pet policy requirements.
Facilities
All our holiday guests can enjoy complimentary wifi at 1GB per device per day. Our internet can be intermittent depending on the number of users in the park and how busy the town is.
Yes, our pool is solar heated. Solar heating will only heat the water to the same temperature as the ambient air. We recommend bringing wetsuits for the kids in the winter!
You’re spoilt for choice in our rec room with a number of paid and free games including air hockey, pool/billiards, claw game, ping pong, Jurassic Park and more.We also have a coin machine located in the games room (accepts notes only).
We vary the movies weekly so there’s always something new to watch. You can ask our friendly staff or check out the activities program for what’s on that night.
Yes, we allow fire pits and coal or wood-fire BBQs from 1 May to 1 September only.
Remember that your fire pit needs to be contained and 30cm off the ground and must be extinguished by 10pm each night.
You’re welcome to use your gas or electric BBQ all year round.
You’re welcome to have visitors outside of school holidays and long weekends for a nominated fee.$20 per child (includes adult) and $10 for any additional adults. Children under 2 are free with a paying adult.
Yes, but for the safety of all our guests we ask that all bikes and scooters be parked at your site or cabin when the sun goes down.
We don’t have child-minding services, but we have so many children’s’ activities on each day that they’ll be kept occupied and entertained with our friendly staff.
Our friendly reception staff may also be able to put you in contact with a local babysitter if you need.
Our mini-golf and tennis are completely free as well as many other games and activities. Check out the activities page on our website for what’s on each month.
Yes, we can provide complimentary highchairs and you can hire porta cots for a small fee.
Our laundry facilities are coin operated at only $5 per wash and $1/10 mins in the dryer. Just remember that you need to press the button after every $1 you put in.
Don’t worry if you forget, there are instructions on all machines for how to use them.

Sites
Yes, as we are lucky enough to be surrounded by beautiful National Park lands, some of our sites have trees located on or near them.
All our sites are level.
This depends on the site you’ve booked. Your equipment needs to fit on the site, however if you need more room, you can purchase additional parking.
Generally, the tap is located at the power head that you’ll find in different areas depending on the site. Some sites have power and water and some only have power. Our unpowered sites don’t have water.
We have a couple of sites where you’ll need an extra-long lead but for the majority of the sites you will only need approximately a 10m lead.

We have 3 camp kitchens; the 2 main kitchens have full-size fridges, sinks, microwaves, BBQs, hotplates, toasters and kettles. Our third camp kitchen has a cold-water sink and BBQ hotplate. All you’ll need to bring is the food.
No, our tent sites are only suitable for tents.
For the enjoyment of all guests, we don’t allow generators in the park.
Cabins
Our cabins are only allocated one car space. If you’d like to bring your boat, jet ski or trailer, you can purchase extra parking.
Our cabins contain kettles, hair dryers, irons and dish washing liquid. Most accommodation types also have basic cooking facilities like microwave and stovetop; with the Ngurra Lodges, Freshwater and Saltwater Eucalypt Cottages all containing full ovens.
We have you covered with all the linen you need in your room. However, we recommend you bring your own beach towel. Although, if you forget your towel, don’t worry – you can hire one from reception.
Our cabins are self-contained and have everything you need to prepare meals including crockery, glassware, pots and cutlery.
Yes, all cabins have TVs and DVD players. We also have DVDs you can borrow at reception. There is no Foxtel.
None of the cabins have baths in them except for the Hideaway Spa villa where there’s a spa with a shower over it and Cottage 1 where the bath and shower are combined. Cottage 2 has a separate bath to the shower.
Unfortunately, none of our cabins are accessibility set up, however we have an accessible friendly bathroom in amenity block 1.
The beds in the Ngurra Lodges and Freshwater Retreat can be split from king to 2 x king singles.
Yes, all cabins have reverse cycle air conditioning so you can keep cool (or warm) all year round.
