Check in is:

  • 11am for sites

  • 2pm for cabins

Check out is 10am for powered sites and cabins, and 6pm for unpowered sites. Guests are welcome to spend the day in the park until 6pm.

Our friendly staff at reception are available 8am to 6pm Sunday to Thursday, 7.30am to 9pm on Fridays, 7.30am to 7.30pm on Saturdays and during school holidays and 7.30am to 6pm.

Yes, up until 8:30pm – and it must be pre-booked. Please ensure you contact the park to let them know you will be late so we can be prepared for you. We’ll send an email or text message with instructions to access your pack, keys and map. Full payment is required prior to arrival.

So that we can share the holiday fun with as many people as possible, we have a maximum stay capacity of 49 days.

No, unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets in our park.

Guide and Assistance Dogs are more than welcome in all cabins and sites. We just need you to supply relevant registration documents and ask that your animal always wears their companion jacket.

Facilities

All our holiday park guests have access to free wifi, but unfortunately it’s not the strongest. We recommend bringing your own dongle/modem if you require better connection.

There’s no pool at our holiday park, but we are located right on the beautiful Somerset Dam, which is a great spot for a swim.

We don’t have a games or recreation room.

We have a kiosk inside reception that sells general grocery items, wood, ice, coffee, drinks, ice creams and worms.

Yes, but please note that fires must be contained to a drum, brazier or similar and must be raised off the ground on legs with a tray placed underneath.

Fire containers are to be provided by the guest if they’re booked on a site. Under no circumstances are fires allowed on the ground or to be contained by bricks or rocks. Trees or parts of trees cannot be cut down for personal use. Firewood is available for purchase from reception. We also have communal BBQs throughout the park that you’re welcome to use.

Yes, we welcome day visitors. Guests visiting park guests are welcome at no charge. Please advise any of your visitors not to drive in, but to use the visitor car park.

To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy our beautiful dam, an access area is located on the northern side of the park where the public can visit free of charge for the day.

This day access area is open seven days a week.

  • 6am to 6pm (September – April)

  • 6am to 5:30pm (May – August)

Visitors must be out by 6pm as the gate comes up and locks.

Yes, but we’re sticklers for safety, so we ask that you always wear a helmet and necessary protective gear, only ride during daylight hours and follow all road rules. Children are to be supervised by an adult at all times.

No, e-bikes or e-scooters aren’t allowed in our park, but we certainly have plenty of things for your kids to do.

We don’t have child-minding services, but our staff may be able to recommend some local babysitters.

No, we don’t provide cots or highchairs so please be sure to bring your own if you need these items.

Yes, all campers get one free game per day. You’ll just need to leave your license or credit card with us until the equipment is returned at the end of your game.

Our laundry facilities are open from 7am to 9.30pm. The washing machine and dryers are coin operated at $4 per load.

Yes, we have two. The EV chargers are free of charge and exclusive to guests staying in the Superior Lakeview Villa, Lakeview Villa and Log Cabin. Our EV chargers are compatible with full electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles that have Type 2 plugs. Other vehicles may require an adaptor, which you’ll need to provide if necessary.

Two car spaces are allocated for most sites/accommodation. Please park your vehicle in this allotted position to keep roads clear.

No, only guests can have their child’s birthday party inside the park.

Location

We are only 12.5kms or a 12 minute drive to Kilcoy IGA.

While we are a long way from the beach, is surrounded by a lovely dam you can swim, fish and enjoy plenty of watersports.

Sites

Yes, some powered sites have trees on them but they should not obstruct access. For unpowered sites, we offer freeform camping, so this will not be an issue. Please check when you book.

Most of the park is generally flat. The Powered Waterview sites are on a slope, but it won’t stop you from getting onto the site. Please check when you book.

Yes, boats are allowed on all sites/accommodation.

The tap is located on the power boards at the back of the site.

A 15 meter lead should do the trick.

You’ll need a 15-amp lead. If you are in a tent and then want to run some appliances, you can purchase an adapter that will convert the 15amp to 10amp and then you can also plug a power board into it for your appliances.

Our camp kitchen is equipped with a toaster, microwave, urn with hot water, hot plates, a sink, fridge, BBQ’s and hang-down chargers for phones. All you’ll need to bring is the food and utensils. Feel free to ask our friendly Holiday Hosts if you require anything further.

On our powered caravan sites, you can only site caravans or motorhomes. We don’t allow tents, swags, camper trailers, rooftoppers, etc. For all other site options, we allow either option, but request one accommodation type per site.

No, generators are not permitted.

No, unfortunately we don’t have any capacity for caravan, boat or trailer storage. You will just have to pay the normal site fees if you want to leave your storage behind.

We don’t have drive throughs and although some of our sites are quite large, you will need to unhitch.

Yes, subject to availability. Unpowered is freeform camping you choose once arrived at the park. You can certainly request a site number and we will request it but we will not guarantee the site number.

Yes, subject to availability. Unpowered must book their own sites, but your group are more than welcome to find an area within the unpowered grounds and set up together.

Yes, most of the time our Holiday Hosts will be available to assist you.

You are welcome to bring 2 vehicles per site or cabin. We do not have car parking for any additional cars, another site booking would have to be made.

Cabins

Yes, boats are allowed on all sites/accommodation.

All of our cabins are equipped to make your stay convenient and hassle-free. Our villas have a hairdryer, iron, a complimentary starter of dishwashing liquid and clothes washing detergent. We also have tea, coffee and sugar. We do not have ovens in our accommodation, but we do have two small hot plates, a microwave, toaster and kettle. Please feel free to ask our friendly Holiday Hosts if you require anything further.

We have you covered with all the linen you need in your room. Please remember to bring your beach and pool towels.

Our cabins are self-contained and have everything you need to prepare meals including crockery, glassware, pots and cutlery.

No, we don’t have Foxtel or DVD players in our cabins. If you are camping on powered/unpowered sites you will need a satellite to be able to watch free to air TV.

All cabins/villas have showers only and have a standard-sized lip to step into the shower.

Villa 1 is our only accessible villa. We also have accessible bathrooms in some of our amenities blocks. These are locked and the guest just needs to ask for the key on check in and they can keep it for their whole stay.

Yes, our cabins have reverse-cycle air conditioning, with the exception of the Log Cabin, which has no heating or cooling.

Unfortunately none of our cabin types offer split beds.
