Looking for an activity for your school, sporting, social or work group? Welcome to the Bear Grylls Survival Academy.  

There’s nothing like having fun in nature to build positive relationships, improve mental and physical wellbeing and, of course, have fun. The Bear Grylls Survival Academy is an outdoor survival and adventure program that encourages communication, problem solving, and teambuilding in the great outdoors.  

Led by a team of highly trained survival experts, participants partake in interactive activities set in nature, designed to promote teamwork, discipline, and self-esteem.  

This program is perfect for groups of kids and adults alike. They’ll have bucketloads of fun and gain the skills to survive in the wild – Bear Grylls style!

Prices from 2 September 2024: $12.50pp for My NRMA (adult or child) / $25pp for non-members (adult or child). Participants can also buy Mission 1 & 2 and receive Mission 3
for free!

Missions 1 & 2 are 60-90 minutes Mission 3 is 90minutes. Guests are asked to arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes prior to the activity start time.

Bear Grylls Survival Academy is suitable for children aged 8yrs+ with or without a participating adult. Children aged 4-7years can participate with a paying and participating adult.

Yes, adults can join in! All missions are great family fun.

No, each course is run individually, however we recommend completing all 3 to become recognised as a Bear Grylls Survival Academy survivor and receive a prize!

As this activity is performed in the outdoors, allergens must be considered by the parent or guardian. It is important that all participant allergies are communicated at the time of booking. A parent or guardian may be requested to stay present during the mission.

Yes, each session will be operated and supervised by the mission Instructor. The parent or guardian is required to sign their child in and out of the activity. Should the child require assistance during the mission, the parent or guardian will be contacted to return to the Bear Grylls area.

There is generally a minimum of 5 participants in order for a mission to run with a maximum of 20. Missions are filled on a first in basis and fill fast especially during peak periods.

We strongly recommend booking places early to avoid disappointment.

Depending on the mission we will look to make alternative arrangements to run the mission as planned or reschedule to another time.

Bear Grylls has designed these missions, however, will not be at the park. Training has however been provided to our Survival Instructors by the Bear Grylls Survival Academy.

Mission schedules vary from park to park and increased sessions offered during peak periods. Complete the inquiry form to find out when sessions are running during your stay.

We ask that all participants arrive with a hat, enclosed footwear, clothing, a drink bottle and a sense of adventure! Don’t forget to apply sunscreen prior to arrival.

No, all activities are run within the property.
